This application cleans your registry of old entries, though results are short on information. 1-abc.net Registry Washer's straightforward interface guides you in performing a full scan of your system's Registry for invalid and lost files.

You can select various types of invalid entries to look for, such as RunMRUs, invalid Paint, Wordpad, and Excel files, shared DLLs, and ActiveX files. Results are conveniently categorized by entry type. The scan process was fast and the deletion process was very effective, though you cannot cancel the process once it's started. Fortunately, Registry Washer also has an effective restore feature. On the downside, results only come with their Registry key and value, which may prove insufficient in identifying items for removal. The More Info button wasn't much help either. It contains the same information provided on the list.

The program comes with a 10-day trial period, although you can extend it by getting the free trial key from the publisher's site. Novices may want a more forthcoming Registry cleaner, but intermediate to advanced users will like this software's efficient and reliable results.

  this tool will crash your windows

  Cons: Always crash, make windows halt, erase important information from your windows...I feel sorry that I wasted my time with this tool and for sure I will not use it again.
