Goat
With hushed, inviting vocals and a knack for cross-genre tunesmanship, this N.Y. singer- songwriter would do David Gray proud. Having experienced a brief glimmer of fame with a track in 1998's "I Know What You Did Last Summer", Goat returns with "All of My Friends", another set of lushly appealing, soundtrack-ready songs.
What Is Pop/Rock?
A relatively generic musical term, pop is short for 'popular' and refers to songs based around quick, catchy melodies and lyrics. Pop music has been around since the 1800s; however, as a style it truly came to fruition during the 1960s in the wake of rock 'n' roll, trading a rebellious attitude for wider appeal.
