There is no one style of 'Christian music'; instead, the genre takes a vast number of forms. Contemporary Christian Music (CCM) can be just about anything, from heartfelt folksongs to blazing heavy metal tracks, lyrically tangled hip-hop to slick adult-contemporary pop. Most frequently, though, the term CCM is used to describe hook-filled alternative rock.
