32 Leaves - Welcome To The Fall Phoenix, Arizona-based, 32 Leaves, simply put, is not a band that is interested in the popular trends of the time. While you could compare them musically to kindred spirits like Deftones, A Perfect Circle or Dredg, the group maintains their own unique musical identity. 32 Leaves’ music is forged within the composition of their songs, their live shows and their overall relationship with each other and the world around them. Haunting melodies. Charging guitars. Explosive rhythms. From the brutal to the beautiful and back again over the course of a single song. The origin of the band is credited to what was merely to be a quick stop to check out a friend-of-a-friend’s band in need of a singer. Lead singer Greg Norris was amazed by what he heard and by the second verse of the first song the band was jamming in full force and 32 Leaves was born! Norris explains that, “It’s always been a matter of synergy between the five of us. It’s truly a gift to have the connection that we have. Often it’s so intense that we don’t even need to speak to one another. Our ideas, thoughts and concerns work themselves out through us, through our music.” That intangible connection is the bond that holds 32 Leaves together. With a collective eye to the future, 32 Leaves continues to sharpen their mettle with no intention of letting up or slowing down. The band recently signed with The Agency Group for their North American bookings and is currently in the studio with Larry Love of Bionic Jive fame producing their debut full-length album for System Recordings’ new label, Double Blind. 2005 looks to be a very important year for the band, as they get set to bring their music to an ever- widening audience.
