great soulful blues and r& b

I've been a fan of doyle for years, his song writeing with srv, made stevie famous a lot faster , check out his versions of srv classics , (he wrote or co-wrote them), I like his blues stuff , but the newer r&b cd sounds real good, this is one those guys , you can listen to over and over , good stuff!!

Doyle Bramhall is one of the most talented guitarists
in music today. I've seen him live and have his CD's,
just go see him! A studio cannot capture the explosiveness
of his talent.
In San Franciso, I was standing by Sheryl Crow (he
was one of the openers) and she was screaming out
in excitement when she listened to him. (She's shorter
than I thought.) :)
I mentioned to her, "sign this guy you'll be thankful you did."
She said, "I wish I could but he's got his own career going."
He has a heavy sound, powerful playing style and you must see him live.

Man o man everytime I lose faith in the direction music is going I hear something like this and I realized music isnt all commercialized ***** and that there are still true talents out there making music. I want more.
