Blazing with originality. A hypnotic brew of influences-jazz,techno,funk,etc

Pete Phunk - the name is so cheesey that you are almost obliged to listen.

And,yes, the corny ingredients are all there...

techno,funk,jazz,drum machines, haunting background saxophone...

So? - you ask.

What's new?

Essentially nothing!

Just a unique "musical mind" at work...weaving original

combinations from genres, which in a lesser composer, would be stupefyingly boring.

The Phunk musical experience is hypnotic and trance-inducing.

You can bear the repetiton because ...

you just never know what Phunk has got up his recording sleeve!

He joins Brian Eno et al- in stretching musical boundaries.

Rather than eclectic-he's elastic.

When he lets go off a sound, the "reverb" continues to be heard in the next...and next musical thread.

Pete Phunk is a total sonic experience.
