I used Mr. Gutheinz's composition "Cracking Shadows" for a video I made for YouTube. I needed a thoughtful, serene piece of music to serve as the backdrop for what I hoped would be a poetic essay. It was absolutely what I needed and I knew it as soon as I heard it. It actually enhanced my video. Along with all the positive critiques the video got, many of them were on the music itself. So yes, this is an outstanding composer. I'll look for more from him the next time I'm doing a project. Come and search the title or the artist to hear the piece in action!

I'm listening all his work since I found it in mp3.com. Simply, I don't understand why this composer is not working in the best films. Perhaps, he don't want it?. His music is natural, pure, full of real emotions. You'll find in each of his themes a part of you, a memorie or symply your mind will write a beatiful scene...

It's this kind of music that reinforces why I love the cello.
I've had this piece for years (from the ORIGINAL mp3.com site... [sob]). I was disappointed to find nothing new here from Steven. Perhaps something new soon??

I first heard this on the first mp3.com site
and was blown away by this composition and the way it's
performed (which may be electronic but is very beautiful).
