Wonderfully spontaneous performance with great playing

In classical music, your expectations tend to be lower when you have never heard of the musicians before. That was the case here. Never heard of the pianist or the orchestra. So was I ever shocked at the quality of the performance. It was simply beautiful. First of all, the orchestra and soloist were of one mind. They had great chemistry and the orchestra played with tremendous warmth. The soloist made a few boo-boos but that is normal in a live performance. But his playing had so much passion and personality, that the boo-boos were easy to ignore. The cadenza was new to me. I really loved the integration of the theme from Mozart's 40th symphony. It was brilliant. A superb performance.

It?s delightful listening, evoking joy and

enlightening feelings by the way he plays and transmits what the genius of Mozart conceived.
