Why Not Label Him A "Disco" Dj?

The say this artist is a House Dj...WRONG! House Music comes from the 70's and 80's Underground style of music like that from the ClubHouse in Washinton, DC, Garage in NY and Catacombs in Philly.
May be he wants to be classified as a House DJ but he is truly far from it and his music reminds me of Disco music updated and it may soothe some folks soul my not mind!

Granted, Paul Oakenfold has earned his place in the history of electronica and dance, however, his latest songs are nothing to really write home about. As with most mainstraim artists in this genre, there's little innovation and a lack of musical depth. As is the same case with BT, (whom worked with the backstreet boys) there's little to differenciate this style with pop, except for there being a bit more emphasis on beats and rythmns and less importance on vocals except as another loopable sound.
It's not bad, but there's better and far more well thought out songs.

Paul Oakenfold continues to put out hard rockin' music that trancends almost all walks of life. His music can hypnotize and then turn into a hot and sweaty dance groove that will not stop booming.
