Now, that's the kind of blues that would get a dead one jump out of its coffin and join that magic band stomping his feet with glee and maybe growl a final "oh yeah" to feel everything's for real...
I always thought the best music is as simple as snapping your fingers and it looks like that's what these Red Mercury guys are doing.
No running in circle, no "I'm-about-to-die"
mumbling fading out of your ears 'cause the occasional bluesman got you sleeping before he got to the dying bit.
They are as strong as an oak, slow or fast their pace is as steady as that of a loco on a coast to coast trip and no sleet or snow, flood or sandy dunes can stop it...
Harmonious, down home, skilled and simple minded, heart felt, all weather, rootsy and yet contemporary, echoing back and hell-bent for new horizons, in a few words:
another side of the thousand faces of good, good music.
Oh yeah!

A treat for the ears - Simply clean, good, coordinated playing with smooth vocal
All of the songs are good and "You an me" is especially so

I was suprised most pleased to find blues music that I enjoyed this much! I would be very happy to walk into some seedy club and find these guys playing. Kudos for their inclusion to your line-up of free downloads!
