best new artist i have heard this year

i first heard about him yesterday in the august issue of guitar player. i have now collected everything that i could find. now the only problem is finding some tab.

I went to high school with Eric. Even back then when he would play at the parties,he was good. Its great to see people in this generation still appreciate a great voice and good music. I have turned on numerous friends to Eric and they all love him. Even my eight year old daughter has him on her ipod.
