ANTOINE HITS THE 'HIGHS' IN THIS DAZZLING NEW RELEASE

MARC ANTOINE is one of my favourite contemporary guitarists.
I hesitate to use labels like "smooth jazz" & "neoclassical" - to describe his unique style.
Let's say, Antoine ranges far and wide -'hi and lo'(!) - with bossa,funk,ballads...in this generous dozen-track offering.
It is an expertly-crafted album.
Among my picks:the title track Hi-Lo Split, the catchy Voodoo Doll and the more pensive Silk and Steel.
