Boy your stuff is tight. I love his rhythm, his feel. The entire soulfulness of his character. This is awesome, pioneering I think especially for a place like Barbados. Another great thing about this guy is that he doesn't seem to try to emulate American artists or what might be pop over and away, but I have to say that this level of peace in music reminds me of Erykah Badu, Common, or India Arie cannot forget Jill Scott. Marvay needs to get signed big so he can take this to the world. Total package: real lyrics real music, real soul. A genius!

I have had the pleasure of listening to Damian Marvay perform live on numerous occasions and with each performance his voice just keeps on reaching amazing limits. It is one thing to hear him perform other people's music in his own sweet style but then to hear him sing on of his own songs gives a euphoric feeeling. His music is poetry with a rhythm and I would encourage anyone to just download or buy his music, sit back, and just soak up his phenominal voice and music!

Damian Marvay represents the element that is missing in the music industry today. Apart from a very versatile, and nicely ranging vocal ability, Marvay presents a complete package with powerful lyrics and tasty delivery. Even at a fairly early stage in his climb to the top, Marvay has grasped the full meaning of the word "artist" and embodies it to the fullest.
After purchasing his first published work of poems - "This Skin Doesn't Fit" - I look forward to the debut album that is sure to meet and exceed my high expectations.

In the almost stagnant Commercial pool that has become R&B and music in general. Damien Marvey is the New Wind refreshing, calm cool and relaxing, he is that "New Idea" to the artform. His voice, certainly original displays the strength of a veteran, maturity resonates from within is various melodies and blending of Skat with Neo-Soul. His various styles take a step forward away from all that is R&B and Hip Hop. He is the new face of Neo Soul. Definately pick up this man's album when it drops.
