If ever a band were just this side of a major reording contract, "Jazz Conspiracy" must be there. Excellent, hard/post bop with great balance and drive. The compositions sound like originals (Dave Beazley, Thomas Mucha?); full blooded and inventive. And recorded to a very high standard. Altogether a very strobg series of performances with "Abiqui" and "Convergence" the stand out tracks.

Oh yeah, this is the real thing! Hints at so many familiar styles that just about any jazz fan will be instantly bought, and for the rest of you still unfamiliar with the intricate beauties of this type of music, well, download this, kick back and prepare yourself for coming late to that party you have planned for this evening... If you like your bop served cool, and yet with a fire in its belly, look no further! True, they do sometimes lack that ever-elusive "it" of truly great artists, but that's what makes, say, Coltrane and Miles what they are. These mp3s really made my day, most definitely a combo to watch. Highly recommended!

some tracs are sloppy copies and other tracs cook. The thre reules of good jazz are quality quality quality. This group shoud take that to heart.
