Catherine Duc comming from Australia, composes great fresh music with groove rhythm and mellow strings and orchestra. High quality sound with clear picture, good mix and deep spatiality. The lovers of Enya's voice will enjoy this music, too. Although in the both songs I heard the vocals are just "the salt and pepper" of the compositions. Mostly is emphasized on sounds, beats, the atmosphere create by ethnic & mystic instruments. Quite remember me of Deep Forest. Gorgeous ambience between all relaxed melodies, tribal rhythm and absorbed orchestra in background. I presume that the whole your debute album will be in such flavour, which makes me intrigued to look around to purchase it. Favourite piece is "Essence of Dreams". Keep going in this tempo...

Labels? I hate them.
But, if you have to describe Catherine Duc-her instrumentals blend ambient,Celtic, World, New Age, Electronica and Neo-Classical.
Put basically, Duc falls into the New Age/Ambient genre...favored by radio and recording playlists.
I have heard the two tracks submitted-as well as the complete album Visions and Dreams.
And a Vision Splendid indeed.
Duc casts a magical spell with her arsenal of synths.
She seems able to create any sound imaginable-or unimaginable!
I particularly like her album track Incense (not featured her).
The dulcimer-like effect she creates is sublime.
I was amazed at how close Duc got to reproducing the actual sound of the dulcimer.
Ah! the wonders of musical technology.
To borrow from another review:"There's Gaelic elements and a hint of the Andes."
Nicely put.
The production on this Melbourne (Australia) artist's album is top-drawer.
Duc will emerge as a major talent in the world of 21st Century music.

Enya - watch out! Tantalizing work with the pan flute and rhythmic scales promises to promote this young lady to worshipped status.

I am in awe of the beauty and passion in the music. It reaches through and touches your soul, uplifts you to a beautiful place. The melody, harmony integrates and flows passionately.
