Spiritual or meditational or just too close to Amethystium

Deosil's music is inspirational and suitable for relax and massage. All songs are spread out in long length and move in slow motion, you can easily close eyes and get laidback for a while. In the whole peaceful atmosphere, I can't see any new ideas and originality, the artist is too similar to Amethystium, Lesiem & Magna Canta (especially with using gregorian chants), some of the motives are close to Ryan Farish creation. Some will say this is proud to compare him with such worthy musicians and bands in this genre, but personaly, I am always looking for new and fresh, or at least to be broken by author's prism. My favourite one here song is "Lost In The Labyrinth" and deserve my high 5 rate. Anyway for the fans of deep and complex textures with monotone development, Deosil will satisfy your wishes.

Deosil is able to combine slow pulse fluxuating rythems, while amazingly handling the tonality of supple ambience and combine them along with side cousins of psy-trance New Age. I am very pleased with this project, for it stems itself away from pure ambience and gives it a new color which stand translucent from the rest. My respects to the artists, rich in soul and mind-light.
