Again, CNet gets it wrong, this is girl is singing in the style of the R&B of the 60's and 50's and this is sista, ROCKS!
She really went to her roots and delivered. I say kudos to the sista, show them how it is REALLY done! Girl, I feel ya :o)

As a youth growing up in the late 70's and early 80's I heard a lot of DJs cutting up the hits and rarities of decades prior...This record and the previous releases are definitely worthy of the the 3 second backspin in my opinion. The musical arrangements are to be put in the class of the greats and Ms. Jones' voice is so crisp with the painful conviction of "...I've been there and done that...Wanna hear a song about it..." Stay funky, People.
