Jill Scott put in music what has been missing for some time now.. heart felt feelings a message to the masses. She's remained consistant because I believe she's remained true to her Roots. I look forward to hearing the rest of her new cd with great anticipation.

Jill Scott is my idol I love her. I am a poet in the making and she has been my inspirational pal. The words that I can use to describe Jill are J=Juicy I-impact L=love l=locator S=sophisticated C=collaborated O=optimum T-tell it like it tiz T=testifies. That is how I would describe my friend my idol my big sis'sta in the making.

I've heard Jill, back in the day at 601 (The Palmer) in philly. She is truly amazing. I'm glad she is getting back to that style. Her 2nd cd was a little too much spoken word for me. I wanna hear her scream, holler, and sing with that beautiful voice that God gave her. This song shows me, Jill is Back! I am looking forward to the album.

I have often found this type of song becomes over powering due to the artists over singing and taking away from the overall sound. Jill Scott has been able to avoid this.
