Now, there are a lot of bands today that just scream a bit and call it emo. They just end up as screaming punk. Now, I don't want to dis punk, it's just about the easiest kind of music to play. No, I take that back, it IS the easiest music to play. Emo gives a band the opportunity to try something different. Play around with rhythms, effects, etc. Silverstein takes that opportunity to progress, and still rock your head off. Plus, I wish they could teach me how to scream. I've tried, I can't do it.

SOme music I really have to be in the mood for.Im always in the mood for Silverstein; they're my all time favorite band.My favorite song is "Smile in Your Sleep" Silverstein has the right amount of eveyrthing in their songs.There's just enough screaming, just enough singing,and there's those slow parts that are often swiftly interupted by a not so slow part.lol.Silverstein rocks in every way!

when i first listened to this song i thought they were crazy with all that shouting and stuff.the music was good though.then when i read the lyrics i got a better feel about this song.very emotional lyrics and extremely cool music.the shouting is well.. a bit strange but it suits the lyrics.now i am a big fan of silverstein and i have downloaded a lot of their songs.

Well i like the music how they dod a lil bit of shouting and thens ing normaly if a normal exists anyway the drums are good allong with the guitars and vocels keep up the good work!
