What a great sound! I took advantage of the downloads and then went to i****'s and go the CD, "Autumn of the Seraphs" plus some other individual pieces from previous CD realeases.

Pinback has the ability to lodge itself in your mind and refuse to let go. The bands multiple lyric layering makes for some amazing music, and is responsible for me coming back to them time and again. They remind me of Modest Mouse's Moon Over Antarctica, only better. Both Blue Screen Life and Summer of Abandon are some of the best CDs that I have heard in the past 5 years. I recently saw them at the Filmore in San Francisco and they were amazingly able to replicate what I thought was only possible with multiple takes in their home studio. Check them out and you'll agree.

this band is awesome 'cuz it's got a mix of beach and indie music. they've got awesomely haunting vocals, too. i wish that they'd put more of their tracks on 'cuz their muzak is great!!
