When I listen to Cradle of Filth it gets me pumped because of the way they play their music and how they sing. I love the deep and dark voices. Sometimes they sound like an orc from lord of the rings. If you like the hard yelling and screaming suff, this is the band for you, but if not do not even try it. It would be a waste of your time. Cradle of Filth is my favorite band and always will be!!!!!!!!!!

Ok I have been a fan of Cradle for some time and have done the gigs and that and I know for a fact that these guys aren't your average 'black metal' band. For one, they don't have a genre or not a definitive one at least and before you question me even Dani admits it. You want to know why? Because Cradle of Filth are one of a kind on both the talent and style front.
If you want an example of how talented they are, read the lyrics. Cradle offer some of most diverse, imersive, macabre and unique music on the market and are regarded as one of the best metal bands of all time. I deftly agree. I recommend you listen to tracks from their older and newer albums to understand the full variation in the music, but possibly the best album is Damnation and a day.

Seems like something perfectly bad will occur if one plays this at loud volume. The cover art has some impaled person, so, to enjoy this, throw away the CD art. Seems like this trys to find an angle to bark at that defies an avatar. Mysteries, mysteries. If it feels spooky to listen to Scandinavian black metal, and you need a patch for your fat *****, this will help.
