Heavy metal menace

Demonic overtures, blood, death, and some rotting carcasses thrown in for good measure .. hey its all here and its sounds bl00dy great !

Demonic Night 4/5

A bit of a slow-ish initial offering, but I love this sort of methodical metal when its done well .. and this is done VERY well. The lyrics aren't exactly anything you'll be singing along to with the kiddies in the back seat, but afer you drop them off just crank it up and enjoy the ride. Only criticism would be that the song should have finished at the 4:40 mark.

Evil Unleashed 4/5

Sort of a simple introduction leads into a great verse and double base, but the change to the chorus is where this track shines. Really something you can get moshing too. The ryhthum change at 1:45 kicks ar$e, and from then on your on a nice, angry train. Have to say that in a few places the guitar sounds similar to Silent Mayhem (see below).. but hey I guess when your on good thing, stick to it.

Silent Mayhem 5/5

Brilliant.

The song you want to download if you only have 1 to choose from. Six and a half minutes of heavy bliss thats played almost to perfection. The ryhthum, changes and vocals all work very well, and make for some excellent driving music (especially in heavy traffic). Look out for the changes at 2:17, 2:55, 4:43, and 5:22.

Where Gods Creation Fails 3/5

This one begins with a bit of an epic feel, but the guitars, rythum and vocals soon kick in with the menace, anger and dare I say 'rock'. Thats the kind of sound I REALLY like, which means it comes as a bit of a shame when at the 2:32 mark they slow the whole thing down again for the next 30 seconds .. it just sounds out of place. Its a case where it's a good song, but in comparison to the others it juuuust misses the mark.

Overall though, these tracks are highly recommended.

The track sampler is 'ok', but I'd rather they put 1 whole song on here for downloading and let the paying public who enjoy it go out, find and buy the album.

I know I'll be looking to buy it.

Even if you dislike the other songs, you cannot argue the excellence of demonic night- this band are definitely a must- have.
