Apostle of Perversion has some serious potential, they combine some of the best elements of both black and death metal. Vocals are good, but could be brought to another level with time and/or practice. Guitar work is by far the most stellar portion of this band. The drummer is no slouch either but he needs to speed up is hand-work. Foot work is great but, the hands need to move faster. Overall, I'd say AOP is someone to look for in the next year or so. \m/

Blistering, high powered metal

I read the review by buick7000 or whatever her name is and had to laugh because she is an obvious music expert...when watching MTV. This is one of my favorite bands I have found on here and have even emailed them a few times and in return they sent me a free CD and shirt which was very cool. Good mixture of fast and melodic beats, good mix of vocals and the drumming is not too bad, although on their web site they have a new drummer playing on the next CD.
Oh yeah by the way I wondered why anyone who listened to death/black metal would give this band a 1 rating like buick did, and after checking her other reviews I couldn't help but notice she did that to pretty much all the death metal bands she rated which makes me wonder how bored does someone have to be to go around and give bad ratings to bands in a genre she obviously does not like, pretty lame, but I'm sure her band kicks ***** (sarcasm)

AOP are a good band, if you're searching for brutality, put your ears on their job! the drums aren't good, aren't bad, more practice and the band will be excelent
