a mixture of the old trash gigant "...and

justice for all" and like I name it

new revolution Metalcore! Back to the roots

(of Trash^^)with a new flavour of melody in

the chorus!

Its absolutely worth to hear and enjoy!

The Best Metal I've Heard In Years!!!

15-Nov-2006 11:04:21 PM
Reviewer: RockerAK

To Begin, I stumbled across this album by accident and decided to give it a listen. WOW! I was hooked from the first track. The first thing I noticed was how well the audio was mixed.

Trivium has a very polished sound. The songwriting is unpredictable but familiar. I can hear influences such as Metallica, Maiden, Testament and Helloween.

The vocals are exceptional and have a modern edge. But, it's not the typical barrage of screamo-arrrrrrghhh-***** so common today. All screaming here is done tastefully and where it's needed. This is usually the point where I move on to the next band. Not this time...

Trivium has a chemistry you can feel. The rhythms are so well crafted you can hear melodies that are not there. A burst of Yngwie now and then to bend your ear but never overdone. Solid songwriting and controlled virtuosity; what a concept.

This is "Modern Metal" at its finest!
