"...raging rock lines of transcendent harmonic beauty..." just about says it all.
In addition to The Byrds, Badfinger and the recent Athens and "paisley scene" bands, I think I hear something that reminds me of Procol Harum. Maybe that's because I like Procol Harum.
Beautiful, well-crafted music, talented band.
