We're not worthy,...we're not worthy,...you'll see. I'm thinking second universe to the right. Yeah that's it! If ya aim at the moon you might hit a bird, but if ya aim at a star you might strike the moon. Aim high boys this one is out of this solar system. Pilfered with stunning riffs one atop the other, driven by melodies slashed with lead pieces of quality the gods would be wide eyed about. Marc plasters your sense of time with accurate pulsing arpeggios and sweetly sings to you through the guitar like a cosmic bird calling you away from your home planet out further into the blackness of space. Maybe when I return next lifetime I should start practicing earlier. Set your screen to some milky way cosmic colored visualization; set to play all in a row; stare into space; and pray you make it back................. AARGH!!! .....How was that?........
...........What was that?.....
(convulsing on floor with the withdrawl shakes...mumbling).......
"must learn scales...".... "woohhh...glirp...valley of souls...".....
Rock It!

The song SCRATCH THIS features some amazing chops and killer grooves....This guitarist obviously knows a thing or two about shredding, but incorporates just enough to not wear out the listener.....great song arrangement. Punchy and aggression-oriented grooves with a slamming drum track.......I like the way this artist adds dissonance and resolve, creating character and originality. It has some great movie theme potential.

Marc Patterson has a style all of his own. In fact, I cannot see how anyone would care to try to duplicate it. There is no consistancy nor is there any artistry. It is as if he took his guitar out to the garage, plugged it into an amp and just started strumming until he decided he was finished. While I know this sounds cruel, it is, unfortunately, exactly what his "music" sounds like.
The good news is that one can tell he has passsion for his guitar. Someday, if he learns to play, he may be a good guitarist.
