A new Anthem for all!

Defaults' success will not be won by default. It will be achieved out of, deserving applause from the masses, of true rock fans! Default has opened a new door, when it comes to upbeat, mixed with anthem rock. A successful combination that is rarely achieved with this much success. You know how most of those, anthems go; All crescendoish or into somber mode. Not here, Defaults song titled, You Can Count On Me, actually makes you want to, take on any challenges life throws and never give up, because life goes on and there is always another door to open up.

hard driving guitar & excellent well constructed lyrics to produce awesome songs

Vancouver hardrockers Default appeared on the post-grunge scene in 2001.At first Vancouver hardrockers,Default,were largely dismissed as Nickelback's B-team protęgęs.They're different,& in the best possible way.The band really works well together,lead singer Dallas Smith has a great voice that really shines on through.Default's music is a must-have for any rock fan,old or new.Default is a great new rock band that uses a combination of hard driving guitar & excellent well constructed lyrics to produce awesome songs with fantastic sounds creating amazing music.Default is a killer new band hailing from the great white north.They're really close sounding to Nickelback.Perhaps this is due to their strong friendships.Nickelback's Chad Kroeger produced & cowrote many of there songs.Defaults' success will not be won by default.It will be achieved out of, deserving applause from the masses,of true rock fans!The songs are sung with so much power and heart;with its fair share of hard and soft, melody and edge, bright and dark.Its a winning formula so powerful that it makes you smile.But it seems they're in no rush to get to the top, to get ahead of the road laid out before them.Apparently,this road is littered with amps & alot of cable.Once spotted in Los Angeles,taking down their own equipment, Dallas Smith said they'd done it before, they knew how.With that kind of honesty and along with a great sound,they might just surprise you.Default is simply good music that is worth listening to.It actually makes you want to,take on any challenges life throws & never give up, because life goes on & there is always another door to open up.I truly believe that Default can please any type of music fan with their music.

Modern rock that won't alienate fans of the oldies

Default's music is a must-have for any rock fan, old or new. Excellent lyrics combine with fantastic sounds to create amazing music. Listen to the free track "Count on Me" and you'll agree.
