This album is classic Jethro Tull, ranging from ballad to rock and sometimes all points in between. The thinking mans ( and womans) band, where the lyrics can be biting and the music almost indefinable.
Just love it !

I adore the way this music makes me feel. grand and tragic, like Tolkiens books.

These songs brought back so many memories of over 30 years ago when I was a mere teenager and my brother-in-law would play Jethro Tull over and over again on his organ and guitar. It is because of Ian Anderson and Jethro Tull that I have a true appreciation of music. To title their music "Classic Rock" does not do this band justice. There should be a category for Phenomenal Music and Tull would be at the top of this list. I cannot wait to purchase this album! (Now, see I have aged myself--purchase the CD is what I need to do in this day and age, hee hee). I don't know how anyone cannot listen to Thick as a Brick and Skating Away and not be swept away by the genius of this music! This was a fabulous "Spin back down the years and the days of my youth"--Thanks!
