There's no hook here. What there is a sophisticated piece of music that will demand a second and third listen. There's a string riff (maybe more than a guitar merits a riff?) that breaks your heart and reminds you of why you like the musical score to Hero. Get this one. Crawling through the ceiling tiles.....indeed!

When ever I hear a Hush Records artist I am sure to be pleased.
After downloading "Ceiling Tiles" by Kaitlyn ni Donovan I am now giddy!
There is a dream-like atmosphere that prevails in this song.
The guitar never changes but you would never notice. Cascading tragic violins and ambient sounds weave across your ears. Her voice is clear and elegant but also fragile.
Chilling and trance inducing.

My friends think I am a music snob and usually don't like my taste in cd's. But I played this for a couple of my friends and they agreed with me that it is dreamy and gorgeous.
one said " she has a voice like the Cocteau Twins singer."
the other said " It's depressing in a good way, kinda Irishy."
I'm going to get this CD and play it till they puke!

The music takes me out of this world. Heavenly vocals, strings and cool back beats. Didoish-Icelantic-chamber pop!
