Except for some very nice equipment, and a pleasant sense of his limitations as a musician, Eels has nothing special to offer. It's easy-listening for the elderly, or the very young, or simple-minded, but nothing in particular in the very simple guitar riffs and slow dreamy simplicity of a over-simplified concept.

Overall, not bad.
