At times i feel as if conor is singing straight from the journal kept inside my head. His lyrics will paint pictures in your head that tell stories about misguided youth and the confusion i know we have all been through. If i was only allowed one band to listen to for the rest of my life it would hands down be that of bright eyes. The blend of sad and simple chords and conors heart filled cries create magnificant sound like no other. you NEED to listen to this band

Coner's musical and compositional prowess is obviously excellent. But his performances often come off as juvenile and forced. I keep waiting for him to group up just a little bit more...
