Snapp

Versatile and Infectious

Snapp's music is perfectly described by his name. It snaps into sync and twists and shifts its sound through an entire gambit of electronic sounds. Genre crossing, each track dares to switch up essential elements from a variety of dance and compu-j influences. Drum and bass, trance, electronica, club, euro, and ambient are just a few examples of the styles blended into the productions of Snapp.

Excellent music, well worth your download.

nocturnal fearz

Ultimately just a beginner.

While the single release Nocturnal Fearz has released so far is not incredibly terrible or amazing in either direction, it lacks a distinct direction or point. In the end, after having heard the song i am left wondering what else could have been presented. Noc. Fearz is on its way to developing an original sound, but has not been able to flesch out its music quite enough yet. With some detail work, music like the release currently available may one day be good, great even, but for now Nocturnal Fears remains just a beginner in the trade.

Digital Leprechaun

The Cutting Edge of Old Skool

Take what you know about old skool DnB and toss it out the window. Digital Lep' is a completely new flavor of your favorite old skool styles and tecniques. Mix together a gorgeous selection of strings and keys, hard hitting basslines, and twisting breaks... you've got what Digital Lep' brings to the DnB table. Worth your time and bandwidth.

Arisu

Music set apart

Unique in his ability to set a distinct mood within a typically hectic drum and bass environment, Arisu blends together brilliant drum sequences and leads with a depth of music not commonly found in drum and bass production.

With his track Ominous, Arisu demonstrates his producing versatility. Starting off with a long two minute intro, the track builds itself slowly to the rise of hats and a deep, edgy pad slide. After the buildup, Arisu gracefully drops a beat and takes the listener deeper into the mood, carefull not to overwhelm. After a brief pause, an intermission in the track, Arisu tears out into a blazing breakbeat. The track retains its dark ominous sound, except now a sense of urgency is upon the listener. A scene involving a chase between a renegade near victory and his advisary can easily be visualized.

Overall, Arisu brings a Drum and Bass production like none other to the table. Well worth your time and hard drive space.

XTIRP8

Techstep for the Dark

XTIRP8 is truly an excellent dark techstep/Drum and Bass artist. Smooth, edgy breaks and techbeats compliment his aggressive leads and synths. In your face synth work rips through each rif, deadly accurate and extremely addictive. Even with the typical repetetive nature of Techstep, XTIRP8 breaks apart his sequences with sweeps and hits, pads and fluctuations, never letting the listener lose interest. Intense music, each minute explains without words a distant world where each step defines the meaning of survival, the meaning of speed and strength.

This music is not for the weak-of-speaker nor the calm-of-mind.
