His playing of "I Didn't Choose the Blues" is just what blues harmonica should be--rhythmic and soulfull. A true preserver of the best style of traditional harp blues.

This goes to the heart of bluegrass vocal, and is reminiscent of Ralph Stanley's "high lonesome voice," with the occasional whooping highs of Little Richard thrown in and outdone.

This is the real stuff--straight from the hills and straight from the heart. Traditional mountain style doesn't get more authentic sounding or better than this.

The tone is right on. The mood is reflective and evocative. If you like solo violin, this may become one of your favorites.
