Artist:

The Grand Central Band

Ready for Prime Time

This artist has paid their dues and is pulling out all the stops on the road to the big time. Tight arrangements, excellent vocals and professional mixing add the finishing touches to a foundation of solid musical talent. Influences of blues and rock sync together with original composition to create an earful of sound that will keep you coming back for more.

Artist:

Infiniti

Original sound, poor production

Unique melody, pleasingly harmonic vocals with a spicy dash of continental flair give the artist's efforts a valid reason to be taken seriously. Not watching the meter on the final mix killed any reason to listen to the music twice.

Artist:

Six String Vandals

Great for small venue gigs

These artists have a talent for guitar hooks and making the most out of limited instumentation. Good musicians, the tune is solid and vocals clean. The lyrics are thin and weaken the music with a sense of clutter. Probably a great local band, strengthing up the lyrics would give wider appeal.

E-Zee Beat a good listen

Although a touch repetative, the artist stays true to the basic reggae formulation and crafts a pleasant melodic creation. Laid-back beat travels uncluttered by vocals, or complicated arrangements.

Artist:

codename:Wingless

Hot music, lukewarm voice

Lyrical and noteworthy, it's not easy to describe why this artist's music just doesn't work. The instrumentation is tight and flows together like a good club band, however, the vocals are high and dry, not a good match for the driving edge the rock guitar is trying to grind. Backing vocals, many of them, to bring a weightier tone to the delivery would help. This band requires an angry dose of testosterone to be taken seriously as a metal band.
