This is true electronica and when the powere to be include MAW, Mark Grant, Miguel Migs and many others in this catagory I have always said that the got it wrong. Electronica is not my flava but this song is too busy for me.

This group is not that bad but their sound is not "juke joint blues". Juke is right down funky, nasty, gut bucket music that can make you feel a little uncomfortable or make you move. I did not get that feelin' from groups music, maybe they were just mislabeled on this site. The group has talent but I ain't feelin' them :o)

I was pleasantly surprised to hear the vocal control and production of this song. I hope and wish her well and remain in the genre I love,be successful... with class.

Again, CNet gets it wrong, this is girl is singing in the style of the R&B of the 60's and 50's and this is sista, ROCKS!
She really went to her roots and delivered. I say kudos to the sista, show them how it is REALLY done! Girl, I feel ya :o)

I can not feel the soulfness of my hometown's spirt or "soul" in this song. Perhaps this site should include Canada's artist as Canda's R&B/Rock. I must admit their sound is similar to the Average White Band, however they did recorded more soulful music when they added addition to the core members of the band. By the way, they r from from Scotland and England. They record with MCA, RCA, Arista and Atlantic and toured with Eric Clapton, back in the day. I have to admit that Brits and Scots really do embrace the Motown sound and attempt to include it in there music but some achieve it and a lot do not.
