Billy Bragg

Everyday People

Writes and sings about issues that affect everyday people. You can always count on Billy to give you a realistic view of the World in which we live. Good for someone like me who wears rose coloured glasses.

rumored high speed rail hub

Great Collection

It is always great to see Artists who are prepared to make a number of their tracks available for us to download.

In this case rumored high speed rail hub, has a diverse mix of tracks here that make for some interesting listening. From the sweet sound of Autograph to the more harsher sounding of ***** [maybe it should be subtitled "i got kicked in the"], this Artist shows that he is not a one hit wonder.

Artist:

Suzanne Vega

She is unique

She is one of the top female singer song writers around. Although she is more well known for her traditional folk pop style as is shown in her songs "Luka" & "Left Of Center" she has also showed that she is not scared to stretch her wings every once in a while.

Her 1992 album 99.9 F is a good example of this as it has a unique mix of acoustic & electronic music that may have surprised some of her more dedicated fans at the time.

She has a best of album titled "Retrospective" released in 2003. I have added a list of tracks that are on the CD below.

1. Luka

2. Tom's Diner (DNA feat. Suzanne Vega)

3. Marlene On The Wall

4. Caramel

5. 99.9Fı

6. Tired Of Sleeping

7. Small Blue Thing

8. Blood Makes Noise

9. Left Of Center

10. (I'll Never Be) Your Maggie May

11. In Liverpool

12. Gypsy

13. Book Of Dreams

14. No Cheap Thrill

15. Calypso

16. World Before Columbus

17. Solitude Standing

18. Penitent

19. Rosemary

20. The Queen And The Soldier (live)

21. Woman On The Tier (I'll See You Through)
