Sara Bareilles

Enjoyably smooth listening.

I'd never heard of Sara before so had no preconceptions, I found the only tune here to be expressive, well crafted and above all (if it's allowable to use the word) catchy.

J.J. Cale and Eric Clapton: "The Road To Escondido"

Pull up a chair, pour a JD and pass the 'j', JJ and Eric are in town, excellent!

I remember the first time I heard JJ Cale, twas a bitter cold night and the air crisp and frosty.. I was passed the reef, took a sip from the bottle and the sounds washed over me.... today I re-visited without the JD and the reef and the music sounds as good now as it did then, as for Eric, I have always believed that his playing is his best when he's in good company and relaxed, he just don't do it often enough, here he's on fire... beautiful just beautiful
