Blondie: ''Eat to the Beat''

Way ahead of the their time musically. Groundbreaking music

"Blondie", who released this album in 1979, is way ahead of their time musically. This group deserves a lot of credit for fusing the music of the '70's; especially rap music (listen to the song "Rapture" by Blondie, not on this album), to see what I mean; into a new age. Blondie is a groundbreaking group, and it doesn't hurt that the lead singer is also a beautiful woman with a beautiful voice.

Look Mexico

Too Much

It's like they're trying to do tooooo much in their song, with all the different melodies and chord work added together, it ends up sounding like a mish-mash of everything, and it just doesn't add up to something pleasurable to listen too. A couple of changes can produce a great song, but 5 or 6 or more changes just produces an incohesive sound. But I give them credit for trying, and some of the parts of the song are right on.
