I can most definatly respect the band for what they are: a band who hasn't yet mastered metal, or even brushed the surface of knowing what they are doing. Deliverance* are pretty much a (sad) ripoff of In Flames, Metallica, and various other trendy, radio friendly pop metal bands. They havn't yet mastered music in general, which isn't enough for me to listen to. I want to listen to music, not a ripoff attempt.

Despite the severely low recording quality, these guys are awesome. Personally, I'd love for these guys to come out with a full - length and blow the metal scene away with true talent - one thing that's hard to come by these days. Bottom line - I love them while hearing them on telephone quality - if I hear that same music in CD quality, I will be amazed. Stick with it, and stay true to the metal scene. You guys rule

To me, 8 Stops 7 have always been an awesome band. I bought their first CD, 'In Moderation', a few years after it came out, and other than a few songs with poor vocals (the singer is a lot better when he just sings, not forces vocals out), the CD was amazing. Their mellow stuff especially captured my attention, and I was glad to see them come out with a new album. After hearing a few songs, I can tell that this CD is about the elements of the band that I didn't like. I personally would have loved to see another mellow sounding release, but I am happy for the band that they are recieving more attention, and I will always know who they really are and that they are actually a good band at heart. Rock on 8 Stops 7!

I guess it's good to know you stoners like to make rock, but let's cut the *****. You guys are sort of good, but there's something about the music that just pushes me away, not wanting more. I think if it didn't sound so indie poppy I MIGHT like it, but i guess that didn't happen.

Look, not in bad way or anything but... what the hell is this? I honstley saw a sad attempt of a band called Putritorium trying to sound death metal, when really just making fools of themselves. Basically, all I'm saying is that this band MAY POSSIBLEY have some sort of possible potential behind the depths of the far background behind what you hear of being slightley MAYBE good. But probabley not. By the way - I can drum a lot better AND my blastbeats are so much better than this drummer's.
