Porter's 80 years old but this is no toss away album, it's old school country of the sort you rarely hear anymore. His voice is still in decent shape, and the arrangements are stripped down as they should be. True honky tonk from a true master.

Funny how this mash-up of Neil Young and Marty Robbins actually works--the melodies flow together, and the songs relate to each other in a new, weird way.

I've played it lots, but I'm just not getting tired of "Tongue Tied" at all, the song still moves like a fireball, definitely the best rock song I heard in 2006
