A NAME TO REMEMBER, A SOUND THAT WON'T DIE

Brother Malcolm did a pretty good job with his keyboard, voice and text. I wish I could buy more of his records but with a pension that leaves you barehanded two weeks before the month is over, I just can't do it. And I must thank bushism for such a nice result. No, I ain't a commie, but I don't belong to the nazi clubs either, I ain't a black, but I have respect for all individuals no matter what color is their skin. Yeah, somebody out there might say I'm just part of that "white trash" which slows down the road to success, power and richness which could be so wasily reachd if only the poor died at rocket speed... Lol, those who think it that way may well die for laughing 'cause it's happening! There are people from babies to grannies who are dying by the millions every year. The only problem is the speed it's still a little bit too slow... Shovel in more coal, drop more clever germs and bombs, put some poisonous substance in their meals, let their orchards grow deadly fruit and vegetables, and why not, select them right before they are born. That's what is needed to get rid of such a huge mass of "good for nothing critters" to give the world of financers or better, wild speculators, fat economists and extra smart politicians a real good chance.

I don't agree, of course, and that's why I love those prophets who gave their life because this wouldn't happen.

I was 25 in 1968, and I do remember well all that happened in those years, but I have a good memory too when it comes to remembering that we, the Romans by the time of Julius Caesar, gave a "marvellous" example of total lack of humanity when we landed in Carthage, killed 90 percent of its population, mowed the ground of what once was a wonderful city and spread salt over what was left so that not even a blade of grass could ever grow again in that area.(Unfinidhed,had to cut it)

Looks Like It Was Only Yesterday...Those Long Gone 50's Are Hard To Die!

Lee does actually sounds Marvellous and his way to open up again a magic world like the one we've been used to, back then when Jean Shephard, Porter Wagoner, Ferlin Husky, Kitty Wells and the hundreds more that built their stairway to the Country Hall Of Fame, and all did their best to give us plenty of fun with a truckload of unforgettable hits, well, those happy days are back again with Lee's songs.

It makes me feel happy and a little sad too...but it's all in the game.

Nobody can buy back his youth, but everybody can't resist its echoing call brought to you by a "new" song sounding as good as an "old" one that stole your heart.

Didn't a classic standard say that "they can't take that away from me" ? Ok, the subject was love, that love that makes the world go 'round, but it can still apply to a song, can't it ?

Don't we love good songs ?

Enjoy, while I'll spend a couple of minutes reading Lee's bio.

That's all we need to do.

If you love A M E R I C A you can't pass them by...No second thought allowed.

I don't know right now if I'll keep on searching for other tunes or just spend another hour listening to those ones which got me writing these few words.

Simply said: Lady New and Mr. Old got married and the baby is as cute as can be.

He'll be the one who'll carry his treasured tradition on to all newcomers and whoever you may be you'll be proud to tell them you were there when he was born.
