The 40night Allstars are back from 2001 with help from MixMaster Doyl E. to rock your dot.com-stained socks off! Featuring Soundclick comedy hits like "Jimmy Likes Porn"(#1), "Mary-Kate and Ashley"(#1), "Summertime Girls"(now top 40), and the Rock En Espanol hit "South Street Rita"(#4). These good-old-boys from Allentown, PA, will make you laugh, while keeping their integrity enough to actually play instruments and write their own material. In 1998, they started their journey into comedy music, coining their band name from a popular drinking habit on Sunday nights where their drink of choice were 40's. The band recorded 30+ songs and three albums in a three year span which included a Christmas Album and a Rap Album. At this time, the band was four-people strong, including a female flute player.
After a break from 2001 to 2003, Buck G. and MC Chilly Willy (the only two remaining members) decided to get the band back together after much requests from the fans in the original years. In their second month of recording, 6/2003, an Infinity Radio station, 105.3 FM in Dallas, TX, requested to play some of their songs on the LIZ WILDE RADIO SHOW. Soon after playing their lovely comedy songs (which included "Jimmy Likes Porn" and "Hotdogs Down a Hall"), LIZ WILDE was kicked off the aire....coincidence?
The 40night Allstars are: Buck G (vocals, words) C. Willy (guitars, keys, words, vocals)
