533soft Icon Changer can change the icon embedded in a executable or icon file. This program supports all files with the extensions .exe, .dll, .cpl, .ocx, scr, .ico. You can change the icon of these files easily and quickly. The executable file size doesn't change. The size of the new icon should be either equal or smaller than the previous one. This software supports compressed exe file. Version 1.80 removed some bug.

"no restriction my behind..."

Pros: its actually pretty good.u can choose the icons out of exe files that are different resolutions, like for a "list view" icon ect.. but as with modifying any exe, changing the icon can result in the exe not launching. its meant to have an undo file system, but if u dont know how to use it, back up the file yourself and edit the copy.

Cons: there is a 15 day limit. and theres a black line going through the icons unles u register. see. it DOES have restrictions.. despite the thing up there saying there arent any.

Version: 533soft Icon Changer 1.80

"DANGER -- no uninstaller. Tries to download virus."

Pros: Stay away. I am not a competitor. This program does not contain an uninstaller. Windows Clean-Up Utility does not work on it. And, it tries several times to go to a web site to download a virus. Stay away.
