7endlessdays are a heavy rock group from Ealing, West London. The band’s three original members are Damian (rhythm guitar), Alistair (lead guitar) and Josh (bass guitar), who all met at university whilst studying digital animation in London. A collaboration on a piece of music for an assignment brought them to the realisation that they shared a strong mutual appreciation for heavy rock music. After a number of practice sessions, their first song ’I Am Giganto!’ was conceived.
Between November 2003 and April 2004, the band wrote several other songs that remained unfinished and unrecorded due to university commitments. After completing their degrees in May 2004, the band decided to complete and record these songs, which will eventually make up their first E.P.
Much of this time was also spent crafting the band’s sound, and as a result of this, it became obvious that another guitarist was necessary. In June 2004, Josh’s brother Sam joined the band, and took on duties as a second rhythm guitarist.
7endlessdays’ music takes several influences, particularly from progressive rock bands such as Dream Theater and Rush, technical performers such as Joe Satriani and Devin Townsend, and more contemporary post-hardcore and rock bands, like Coheed & Cambria, Funeral For A Friend, Cave In and Avenged Sevenfold.
“Wheras most bands want to make it big and live out a typical rock-star lifestyle, we just want to remake ‘Big’. Starring Tom Hanks again, naturally.”
7endlessdays are currently looking for a singer in the London area. If you want to send the band a demo or require more information, please send an e-mail to contact@7endlessdays.co.uk
