Counting Crows, '1492': Free MP3 of the Day

The Counting Crows came of age in the early '90s, during the swan song of smart major-label rock. New album "Saturday Nights & Sunday Mornings" shows they get the indie kids, as a rowdy A-side from Pixies producer Gil Norton decrescendos movingly into a brooding back half from Brian Deck.
