Publisher's description of Access Lock 2.9

Access Lock is a system-tray security utility you can use to secure your desktop when you are away from your computer. Just configure the program, define a password, and your desdouble click the Access Lock system-tray icon every time you need to disable and hide your desktop. While it is locked, the system keys and taskbar are disabled and the mouse cursor is trapped, unauthorized password entries are met with an audio alert and logged to disk. The only thing available in this mode is a pop-up password-entry dialog with an input area for the password that restores your desktop to working condition.

Access Lock enables you to lock your PC by two methods. The first one hides ktop and shows a screen saver while the second one does not hide it allowing others to watch what happens there that is very useful when you would like to demonstrate something to people but do not want them to play with it. Version 2.9 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.

  "Help me to prevents unauthorised user when taking a nap"

  Pros: i find out that the last review is rather to harsh. Im use this tool more than 2 years and no real problems so far. It very useful to me by assigning hotkey to lock your desktop which is the same function like windows screensaver lock but more convenient by just pressing hotkey rather than waiting for screensaver timing. No rocket science though when try to uninstall it, even listed at your Window's Remove Program. Of course when u tick an options for "Only Admin can Deactivate"

  and "Disable Safe Mode"- just only administrator can use and uninstall it, thing u must be careful at. Im also noticed some improvement than older version when u also have an options to prevents any files/folder to be delete or rename which i think unnecessary. I'll give full rating if this tool is free.

  Cons: Yes user support is suck!

  Version: Access Lock 2.9

  "I think this is a very useful software however be wary"

  Pros: i like how simple this is to set up and how effective it is at keep people away from my computer :D

  Cons: i dont like the need for a hot key it would be much better there was a simple way to set a timer. the company needs to explan the risks of some of the options they offer.
