  It Only Removes Known Virus

  Pros: Easy to use.Detects what some antivirus miss.

  Cons: It only detected known virus in my computer and failed to detect some virus.It's better to get avast home or professional edition.

  Pros: everything by still use the realtime in the avast app

  Cons: need more better scanning look and threats

  Great tool for specific virus removal

  Pros: It was clean known viruses in its database

  Cons: Doesn't have a near as large database as the Home or Professional edition

  Pros: this is a viruis cleaner, meaning that if u think u have a viruis that your CURRENT antiviruis program is missing, u can run this tool to check for certain baddies, viruises. For a complete full antiviruis program, use avast home edition (completaly free) or use avg. If you go onto avast.com it says this: If you know that your computer has been infected by a known virus/worm (such as MyDoom, Netsky, Beagle etc.) try using our FREE avast! Virus Cleaner.

  THIS IS NOT AN ANTIVIRUIS PROGRAM TO PROTECT YOUR PC, ITS A PROGRAM TO SEARCH FOR CERTAIN TYPES OF VIRUISES. kinda like microsofts malcilous software removal tool.

  Junk, even worm bagle32 allows it, while all other blocks

  Cons: I caught bagle32, "thanks to Avast protection". All anti virus, CCleaner, Spybot and other "useful" software were blocked even in Safe Mode, it was not possible to install anything. I managed to launch Dr. Web Cureit in Repair Mode, it found some trojans and deleted them. Then it was possible to launch ComboFix and it did all the rest.
