Editor's review of Cachifox Toolbar
This browser add-on promises one-click access to various news and entertainment sites, but there's nothing here that makes this toolbar stand out among the rest. In your typical toolbar fashion, Cachifox Toolbar stretches across your browser window and includes various shortcut buttons.
All the standard components are here--e-mail notification, pop-up blocker, weather display--and all performed well during our tests. A button strictly for Yahoo services is a plus for Yahoo fans, who will appreciate the convenience of having this shortcut on their toolbar. You can customize the toolbar to remove or add buttons, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and MSN Messenger. We did come across two links--for Cana services--that didn't work.
For the most part, however, Cachifox Toolbar works. A built-in radio or RSS feed would have at least set it apart from the bazillion other toolbars out there that contain the exact same features. It's hard to recommend this run-of-the-mill toolbar; look for one that offers more features.
