Dacris Benchmarks is a program that tests, compares, and optimizes your system. Based on a new plug-in DLL architecture, it allows users to make their own tests and optimizations. It is light-weight, easy to set up, stable, and accurate. It also has a very large collection of reference results (baselines) with which you can compare your own results. Version 5 build 5005 has been completely rebuilt for stability and simplicity.

  Dacris Benchmarks

  An excellent benchmarking tool!

  Pros: I needed a benchmarking tool that would allow me to obtain a total score just for Hard Drive, CPU, RAM and Network speeds, excluding graphics. This product allowed me to do exactly that using a clean and very usable interface. The only comparative tool that I have been able to find that does the same thing, but only once it has been purchased, is FutureMarks PCMark. Dacris Benchmarks is far cleaner and more usable, building in its tests internally rather than relying on extra installations.

  Cons: Dacris Benchmarks includes an optimization wizard which did not detect that I was running under Vista and would have allowed me to perform 2K/XP optimizations. I did not perform them as I was uncertain of the results. Since this did nothing to reduce its effectiveness as a benchmarking tool I did not reduce my score.
