From FilterGate:PopupFilter is a free, fully functional version of the PopupFilter module from the popular FilterGate suite. PopupFilter blocks all forms of pop-ups and pop-unders, including intrusive Messenger Service ads and the new Flash-animation pop-ups. In addition to automatic blocking, you can now set up your own Allow and Block lists for more personalized control. PopupFilter does not contain any form of spyware.

"Works great. This is a handy little filter with updates."
Pros: I like the password feature and especially the adult filter. I also love the fact that you can update the filter list quite often.
Cons: none that i've seen thus far.

"Allows pop ups to pass through"
Summary: The program is not everything the company claims. It allows popups to get through. The program will not remove with its uninstaller and the company does not offer support through email.

Summary: This program works great! I have downloaded several 'popup blockers' and none worked until FilterGate. Be advised that you HAVE to read the instructions before using - clean out cache and remove spyware - for it to work properly. Using Windows 98
